Creating Events

  • Log into WP Admin for your website

  • On the left hand side menu, navigate to "Events"

    • Hovering over the 'Events' tab, you will see a secondary menu. The following options are relevant to you:

      • Events: List of all events, can add/edit events here.

      • Add New Event: Short cut to creating a new event

      • Event Categories: Edit/Add Categories

      • Reorder: Reorder Events

      • Click on 'Add New Event'



  • In the Page Builder, you can add/edit the following information:

    • Title

    • Body Content/Description

    • Event Categories (right hand side)

    • Featured Image (right hand side)

  • In 'The Events Calendar' Section, you can add/edit the following information:

    • Time & Date

    • Location

    • Organization

    • Event Website

    • Event Cost



  • Once you have completed inputing all information, navigate back to the top of the page and in the upper-right corner click the blue 'Publish' button


*Note: Events will display on yourwebsite.com/events/list in chronological order
